Projects

Subnational Conflict NLP Study

Used Python (NLTK) to classify 195k+ conflict records by sentiment and framing. Labeled data for supervised ML to study how political reservations affect conflict narratives in India.

Cook County Property Valuation

Built regression models using Python to predict property values and detect tax bias patterns. Identified consistent overestimation in low-value homes, highlighting regressive valuation trends. Tools: pandas, scikit-learn.

Smart Cities Policy Evaluation

Analyzed India's Smart Cities Mission using difference-in-difference methods to assess COVID-19 impacts across 200 cities. Combined statistical rigor with cost-benefit analysis and policy insights.
